Heewon Seon
Heewon Seon holds a Master’s degree in Korean Language Education from Korea University and a Bachelor’s degree in Korean Language and Literature from Chung-Ang University. She is currently a Korean language teacher at a high school in Seoul and has also spent several years teaching Korean literature, grammar, reading, and writing at a private academy. As a Fulbright grantee, she taught Korean at the University of Texas at Dallas, where she also designed curricula and developed materials tailored for English-speaking learners.
At the heart of Heewon’s teaching philosophy is one essential goal—keeping students consistently motivated throughout their language learning journey. She believes that mistakes are valuable steps toward progress and creates a safe, supportive environment where learners feel free to take risks and grow. Through differentiated and scaffolded lessons, she ensures that each student is both challenged and empowered to achieve their goals with confidence.
