Course Structure

  • Each 30-hour course is delivered by experienced TOPIK instructors in an intimate Zoom setting.

Duration: 10 weeks (week of 10/6/25 - week of 12/15/25)

Time: 1.5 hours per sessions, 2 sessions per week.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Core Vocabulary and Expressions

    • Master high-frequency words and everyday expressions that commonly appear in TOPIK I.

    Listening Practice by Question Type

    • Practice with TOPIK I-style audio to develop strategies for understanding simple conversations, identifying details (such as time, location, and numbers), and recognizing the main ideas.

    Reading Practice by Question Type

    • Enhance reading comprehension with brief, straightforward texts that focus on grammar patterns, vocabulary, sentence completion, and logical reasoning order.

    Full-Length Mock Tests and Review

    • Take mock exams modeled after TOPIK I to build confidence, improve time management, and enhance problem-solving skills, followed by feedback to strengthen weak areas.

    By the End of This Course, You Will:

    • Learn short and simple Korean used in everyday situations, such as greetings, shopping, time, and directions.

    • Identify key information such as time, location, quantity, and prices from short spoken or written texts.

    • Understand the main idea, speaker’s or writer’s intent, and emotional tone in simple conversations or texts.

    • Complete basic sentence structures using correct vocabulary and grammar, such as particles, verb endings, and connectors.

    • Arrange sentences logically or select the sentence that best completes a short passage.

  • Academic & Practical Vocabulary and Grammar

    • Build a solid foundation in mid-to-high level vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, and complex grammar patterns frequently encountered in TOPIK II.

    Listening Practice with Longer Dialogues and Monologues

    • Enhance understanding of news reports, lectures, interviews, and discussions through practice with TOPIK II-style audio and questions focusing on speaker’s intent, tone, and details information.

    Reading Practice with Advanced Texts

    • Develop strategies for analyzing longer written passages, such as editorials, essays, and notices, and for answering questions about logical flow, inference, attitude, and summary.

    Writing Task Mastery

    • Learn how to complete both Q52 (short paragraph writing) and Q53 (essay writing), focusing on organization, developing arguments, grammar accuracy, and maintaining formal style expressions.

    • Includes 1-on-1 writing proofreading and coaching.

    Full-Length Mock Tests and Individual Feedback

    • Take mock exams modeled after TOPIK II to develop time management, critical thinking, and test-taking skills. Receive personalized feedback to improve your writing and comprehension.

    By the End of This Course, You Will:

    • Understand spoken Korean in formal or semi-formal settings like news reports, lectures, or interviews, and tell apart facts from opinions.

    • Understand extended spoken and written texts on personal and social topics, including abstract or formal content.

    • Identify main arguments, specific details, the speaker or writer’s attitude, and the logical connections within complex texts.

    • Express opinions, support ideas with reasons or examples, and write coherent multi-paragraph texts for practical or academic purposes.

    • Use proper grammar, formal language, and cohesive devices to clearly communicate meaning in both speech and writing.
