Eunyoung Kim
Eunyoung Kim has been teaching Korean for most of her life — to curious beginners, K-drama lovers, heritage learners reconnecting with their roots, travelers, and adults who simply want to hold a real conversation in Korean. She is a certified ACTFL Oral and Written Proficiency Tester and the author of a Korean textbook published by Kendall-Hunt. What Eunyoung loves most is the everyday magic of language learning: the first joke you understand, the first song lyric that suddenly makes sense, the first time you dream in Korean.
Eunyoung believes Korean isn't just grammar and vocabulary — it's a way of seeing the world, full of warmth, humor, and nuance: “My job is to make that world feel welcoming, one conversation at a time. I can't wait to meet you and start this journey together.”
Eunyoung holds:
M.A. in Bilingual/Cross-Cultural Behaviorism — California State University
Certificate in TESOL — California State University
Ph.D. in Educational Psychology (ABD) — Oklahoma State University
B.S. in Chemistry — Sookmyung Women's University
