Dawoon Kim is a dedicated Korean Language Instructor and currently serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Penn State University. She holds a Master’s degree in Teaching Korean to Speakers of Other Languages (TKSOL) from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea. With extensive experience teaching Korean at various levels, Dawoon provides structured and engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of her students—whether they are preparing for Korean proficiency exams like TOPIK and DLPT, learning Korean for travel, or simply exploring the language as a hobby. Drawing from her expertise in curriculum development, she designs classes that align with each student’s level and goals. Her approach emphasizes building confidence and practical skills, empowering students to use Korean effectively in real-life situations.
