This course provides you with a foundation in Korean communication. You will learn vocabulary and grammar that can be used for a basic conversation about one’s nationality, grade level, hobbies, academic majors, and occupations. You will learn to exchange greetings, ask and answer “what is” questions with “is” and “is not” verb conjugations, and construct a variety of present tense sentences using the S-O-V order. By the end of the course, you will be able to introduce yourself, ask basic questions to get acquainted with your fellow classmates, and invite someone to do an activity together.
